Terry has been sewing and making her own clothes for nearly 50 years. She took advantage of her position as Director of Product Presentation for Wicks ‘N Sticks candles at their corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas, to incorporate into her sewing the knowledge of color and design that she acquired while working there.

At WNS Terry designed visual merchandising displays for all company sponsored
special events, and traveled around the United States attending store openings and
supervising the displays for new stores. Terry periodically gave seminars to franchisee storeowners at the Houston headquarters on the subject of line, color, and design and
also wrote the company’s display manual. All of the knowledge that she acquired she
now brings to her workshops.
